Since 2006 a small band of members, who are keen, amateur artists, has been meeting weekly in the Reading Room at Castle Rising. We paint in most mediums, for example watercolours, pastels, acrylics and oils, and always welcome new members.

In February we had our first display at the monthly Arts Society meeting for several years, as can be seen in the picture. This was warmly received and we hope more members will be tempted to join us.

We meet in the Reading Room, down the road beyond the west end of the church, from 10 – 12 noon. Postcode: PE31 6AJ.

Some knowledge of how to paint or draw is useful as we have no tutor, but we can offer basic advice.
